Blind Dog Playing Fetch Brings Back Bittersweet Memories for Leslie

One of the very best friends I ever had was my dog, Tasha. She was a beautiful, blond Cocker Spaniel. Given to me as a 21st birthday gift, which is NEVER a good idea, she filled a void in my life that I will never be able to refill.

Tasha was my best friend for 11 years and I miss her everyday. She was a gentle and loyal playmate for my daughter who was 4 when Tasha passed away.

I saw this video and cried, thinking of her and her playful, strong side. She was a fighter right up until the end who never forgot our friendship, no matter how bad she felt. This dog, through even the most difficult disability, never forgot either. :-)
