You Can Expect To See An Increase In Your Vectren Bill Next Year
Folks in the community don't seem too happy about the State's recent decision that will affect their Vectren bill. This past Wednesday, Vectren received a state agency's approval to upgrade and modernize its electrical grid. In theory, this seems like a good idea, but when residents found out that their monthly bill, that they already say is too high, the decision got some backlash.
According to the, beginning next year, residential customers will see an increase of $1 to $2 per month on their electric bill. That may not sound like much, but by the end of seven years, they will see an increase of $16 to $17 per month.
