I spend our mornings talking to YOU and I love it when YOU talk back. Whether you call us, text, email, message or comment - I LOVE IT!  I will always highlight some of my favorite listener text feedback. Check it out; it could be YOU!

This morning, Eric and I shared a quote with you from an interview that was done with radio consultant Keith Hill. Here is the the now infamous “#SaladGate” quote. “‘If you want to make ratings in country radio, take females out,’- Keith Hill” He even went on to say that in the salad of radio, men are the lettuce and women are the tomatoes. Hence, #SaladGate.

Hmmmmmm, interesting. We wanted to know what you thought and here is what YOU had to say about the whole thing...

Henderson, KY - I enjoy all music girls or guys but when listening to yall on the radio I want to hear the guys songs more than the women. Eric just asked would we be offended by an hour of women music? That would drive me crazy but an hour of the guys would be awesome! I've gotta chime back in being Eric asked would we even notice? Yes I would because I attempt to sing every song that comes on the radio! (I'm a guy) Maybe I just relate better to them.

Evansville, IN - We need more female artists like Miranda Lambert she is 100% pure what u see is what you get. Carrie as well. To many Luke Bryan wanna-bes there's only one country boy that can shake that butt like Luke! There can't ever be to many great country music legends and that is what good country music is they are forever a star and the good one's make it and the one hit wonders will fade away. It takes a good artist to make a good song female and male. Tim and Faith. Johnny and June. It just depends on the artist and the work they put in to it. Look at Reba. She was a super hot woman of the 90s and still is beautiful and can come back after taking years off and still be loved. Its women like her that makes country music history.

Morganfield, KY - Women are a big deal in country music. If this guy doesn't think women are a huge contribution to the music the why is that Blake Shelton's finalists in The Voice have been women? Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradberry, and Meghan Lindsey are amazing women in country music and apparently the nation thought so also because The Voice is the biggest music television show on TV.

Jasper, IN - If it is a great song i dont care who is singing it play it! But its probly gonna be Eric Church if it is great
