You hear a lot of songs on the radio, but there are a lot more songs that are on an artist's album that never make it to radio and you may never have heard. I want to give you an opportunity to hear a few of those songs, if you haven't already. Each week I will be giving you a new WKDQ Deep Cut. This will be a song off of an artist's album that may or may not be released as a single to radio.

I will be giving you a different country song each week to listen to. If you have already heard it, great! If you haven't, take a couple of minutes to check out some great songs that may or may not pop up on country radio. Now, there may be some artists that you don't like, but give them a shot, you may like what you hear!

Maren Morris has taken country music by storm since the release of her debut single "My Chuch." That song is from her first album called Hero. The album has been praised by many people in the music industry, and after hearing it, I can see why. She writes about real things. This week's Deep Cut is a song from that album called "Drunk Girls Don't Cry," and it is a song that is easily relatable to virtually anyone.  Everyone knows someone like the person described in this song. It's got a pretty chill vibe to it, but at the same time, it is a sassy song. Careful though, there is some language in the song, so don't crank it up in the office...unless they are cool with it! Check it out:

Also, feel free to give me some songs as well. If you have a song that you think should be featured, let me know here:
