The legendary Willie Nelson is pitching in to support independent music retailers everywhere at the upcoming 2013 Record Store Day. The music icon will offer a vinyl exclusive of a song that pays sly tribute to his favorite pastime -- and just in time for his 80th birthday.

Nelson is releasing a 7" green vinyl edition of the all-star version of the appropriately-titled 'Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die' for Record Store Day. Taken from his 2012 'Heroes' album, the track features guest vocals by Snoop Dogg, Jamey Johnson and Kris Kristofferson.

The B-side is a previously unreleased solo Willie Nelson version of the song. The single release will be a numbered limited edition.

Record Store Day is an annual event on the third Saturday of April that celebrates and supports independent music shops. This year's event takes place on April 20. Willie Nelson will turn 80 on April 30.
