I chose Billy because it's his birthday today!! That got me thinking about....What's he doing NOW?????

Billy Gilman , the 12 year old boy who stole our country hearts back in 2000......

........turns 27 today!! :-)

Billy is STILL performing , he even made an appearence at the Grand Ole Opry this month.

Lately,  the multi-platinum-selling GRAMMY nominee brought together his country artist peers to record,  'The Choice' a song co-written by Billy to bring attention to the world issue  of children in need of shoes.  100% of the proceeds, from digital downloads, go directly to Soles4Souls, whose goal is  to put shoes on people in need.
