If you travel downtown, you've seen the construction going on at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science.  This morning, it appears as if a huge yoga ball appeared inside the new addition.  What is this giant ball?

This inflatable ball is actually the beginning of contraction on the dome of the new Immersive Theater.  According to the museum's Facebook page:

WE HAVE DOME! The three-story balloon was inflated this morning, this is the first big step in the construction of the Immersive Theater. For the next five weeks, crews will continue working on the inside of the dome, spraying the inside with a foam material which will then be covered with re-bar and concrete.

When all is said and done, the theater will look something like this.
