A lot of people that have never been to Nashville for CMA Music Festival may be wondering exactly what happens there.  One of the big questions I've been asked recently is, "What is the difference between CMA Fest and Fan Fair X?"  I am here to help.

Once upon a time this week, now known as CMA Music Fest, was called simply Fan Fair, and it was held at the Nashville fairgrounds with chances to meet your favorite artists and concerts from each major label.  Over the years, the celebration has grown to so much more, and was renamed CMA Music Festival.  The event features multiple music stages throughout downtown Nahshville, most of them free of charge.  There are also plenty of other free events that cater to the country music fan's lifestyle.  Of course the main event is still the nightly concerts, now at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans, but those tend to sell out quickly as they did this year.  That still leaves Fan Fair X as a part of the CMA Fest.

Music City Center is the host of the convention part of the festival and Fan Fair X is the name that enters its 3rd year.  A separate ticket can be purchased for daily admission into this event where hundreds of vendor booths are set up and artist meet and greets take place.  On top of that, additional performance and Q&A stages are set up for festival participants.  Tickets for Fan Fair X are still available, and just one of the many ways you can enjoy this year's CMA Music Festival, June 11th-14th in Nashville!
