What Does a Teal Pumpkin Outside of a House Mean?

The Teal Pumpkin Project is starting to take off, but what does it mean when you see a teal pumpkin outside of someones house?

The Teal Pumpkin Project was started to help out children who have food allergies.  If you see a house with a teal pumpkin outside, that means either they are handing out non-food items instead of candy, OR they have candy, but they also have some trinkets to hand out in case a child comes to their door with food allergies.

It's a small way to help kids who happen to have allergies have a fun and safe Halloween.
