Weiner Dogs Share the Track With the Ponies at Ellis Park

They are on the opposite ends of the racing spectrum, but they will share the track this Saturday, August 25th as Ellis Park hosts the annual Wiener Dog Derby!

Come find out which dachshund will reign supreme! There will be two qualifying heats for the wiener dog derby at approximately 2:30pm and 2:40pm. The wiener dog Derby will follow at approximately 3:30pm.

Of course there will be plenty of live horse racing too (the live racing season is almost over you know). And, of course, all of this is yours to see for FREE! Ellis Park always offers free general admission and free parking. More info here.
