VHS Makes Desperate Plea to Help Get 3 Senior Dogs Out of the Shelter

Meet Nicky, JoJo, and Kay.  They are three adorable senior dogs who just need a good home. VHS wrote a plea to help get them adopted on their Facebook.  I hope this helps! 

VHS is an amazing facility, and they take great pride in the care they do for their animals.  And while the VHS is a  safe place for animals to go and be taken care of while they wait for a home, shelter life at times can be stressful on animals. Especially senior dogs.  These 3 Chihuahuas story just broke my heart.  They had a home, for 13 years.  The owner fell on hard times and could no longer care for them.  They've been at the VHS since March 5, and the VHS has done everything to try and get the word out to try and find these dogs loving homes to spend their golden years, nothing seems to be working. They were even our pets of the week a couple weeks ago!

That's when they turned to facebook and posted this plea:

As someone who has a senior dog, I have a 10 year old lab, I can honestly say there is nothing better than the love of a senior dog.  Yeah puppies are cute, but puppies are a lot of work.  By the time dogs reach their "golden years" they just want to be with you.  They are content laying around all day with you, and cuddling up on the couch.  There's really nothing sweeter.
