Tyler Hubbard and his wife got big news during Florida Georgia Line' appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (Feb. 21): they're expecting a baby boy!

On the Grammy Awards red carpet earlier this month, the singer shared that his wife, Hayley, is expecting their second child — so when they visited Ellen, host Ellen DeGeneres wanted to surprise the couple with a gender reveal.

"So do you know what you're having yet?" the host asked Hubbard, to which he replied, "We don't, we find out Friday actually."

But DeGeneres was armed with a folder — as well as a cannon of blue confetti — that revealed that Baby Hubbard No. 2 is a boy. The lead-up was a big TV moment, of course, with DeGeneres teasing: "Look what I have ..."

"Don't tell me this is about to happen on TV!" Hubbard responded. She lead the couple to a big red button, which, when pressed, sprayed blue confetti all over the stage and them.

The Secret History of Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise":

As Hubbard told the audience, when the couple was expecting their daughter, Olivia, they were first told she was a boy, which they believed for two months before a scan — and ultimately, her birth — revealed otherwise. Olivia was born just before Christmas in 2017, so she'll turn 2 shortly after this baby arrives.

Florida Georgia Line also performed on Thursday's episode of Ellen. The duo released their new album, Can't Say I Ain't Country on Feb. 15. It features three collaborations and nineteen tracks in total.
