Since it is that time of the year, I have comprised a list of my top 5 favorite Christmas movies of all time. Let's see if any of these match up with your favorites!

Number 5- Christmas Vacation

While a lot of people say this may be their favorite Christmas movie, I have to put this at number 5. Christmas Vacation is a great holiday movie. If you haven’t seen this movie, it is pretty much like every other Vacation movie: hilarious chaos . The Griswold’s plan for a big family Christmas turns into a big disaster with a lot of laughs along the way. There's a line from this movie that I always say anytime someone asks me a question that I don't know the answer to...if you don't know what that might be, here's the scene:

Tied at Number 4- Home Alone 1&2

As a child of the 90’s, how could this not make the list?! It was so hard to decide which was better so I did took the easy way out and made them a tie. As you know, this movie follows a young, yet overly intelligent boy for this age, Kevin. Through a series of events, he is somehow all alone on the holidays while two dimwitted burglars are out to get the little guy. The weird thing about these movies is that at some point these guys legitimately try to KILL this kid! That’s pretty messed up for a family film, but yet it made them entertaining.

Number 3- The Santa Clause

This film is an instant classic. The story of a man who inadvertently kills Santa, only to become Santa himself. Full off laughs, this movie is easily in my top three favorite Christmas movies of all time. As a result of The Santa Clause,  to this day, I take my hot chocolate shaken, not stirred.

Number 2- Elf

Elf has to be one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. Will Ferrel  was somehow believable as Buddy the Elf and created many Christmas catchphrases that we now use every year. This is one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and it never gets old.  It is still hard for me to not answer the phone by saying “Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?”

Number 1- Jingle All The Way

I'm sure many of you are shaking your heads at this moment, but this is my favorite Christmas movie of all time. Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my favorites. This film shows the struggle of trying to find that one Christmas present that everyone seems to want. While I realize this is a little out there and unrealistic, remember, Christmas Vacation is a little out there and unrealistic too! I absolutely love watching Jingle All The Way, however, when I watch it, I always tend to quote a certain line from the movie...this makes me laugh every time:
