According to the EPD:

On Wednesday, August 9, road patching will start on Red Bank Road between Upper Mt. Vernon Road and New Harmony Road. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone and to be aware of potential slowed traffic. After the road patching is complete, milling and resurfacing of Red Bank Road will be done. A follow up notice will be sent out once the schedule for the milling and resurfacing has been determined. The completion date for this project is September 1, 2017 (weather permitting).

Maybe the day will come when we all have flying cars, and we won't have to worry about leaving for work early because there's road construction. Until that day comes, we'll just have to makes plans to deal with it.
