It seems that these days online podcasts about and by wrestling personalities are popping up all over the place.  Some of the biggest names in wrestling have launched their own shows that drop at once, sometimes even twice a week.  In my experience thus far, here is my ranking of the top 8 shows by wrestling personalities.

    Who's Next With Goldberg

A lot of people have criticized Bill Goldberg for not having passion for the wrestling business, despite being one of the biggest stars of the last 20 years.  I would tend to agree, and his show is proof, that wrestling is not the first priority for the former world champion.  While there is no lack of star power guests on the show, which drops on Tuesdays at Podcastone.com, in 17 weeks of episodes, he's only welcomed one wrestler.  He's actually had more country music artists on the show.  Again, I'm not hating the podcast itself, which has boasted strong guests like Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Deion Sanders, but its lack of wrestling content puts it at the bottom of my list.

    The Jim Cornette Experience

Never at a loss for words, Jim Cornette, one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time, takes you through his thoughts on just about everything at his own website JimCornette.com.  Trust me.  Kid gloves are something Cornette has never worn.  While he doesn't have as many high-profile guests as some of the other casts, Jim does sound off on the state of the wrestling business.  It certainly can be entertaining, but if you are easily offended, stay away.  From harsh language to extreme government and religion talk, Cornette makes no apologies so listen at your own risk.

    Piper's Pit with Roddy Piper

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper has always been one of the best entertainers in the wrestling business in my opinion.  He certainly knows anybody who's anybody in wrestling.  That's given him the opportunity to book some of the most high profile guests on his PodcastOne.com show.  The problem...Hot Rod is not the best interviewer.  It can be fun to listen to old friends having a conversation, but it sometimes wanders with little direction.  There was one show that sounded like Roddy put his iPhone in the middle of a room and bugged a converstation with himself, Jimmy Snuka, and Brutus Beefcake.  Good show...needs some production work

    The Swerve with Vince Russo

In most wrestling circles, Vince Russo is 'the bad guy.'  The former TV writer for WWE, WCW, and TNA has been everywhere and even gets blamed for 'killing' 2 wrestling companies.  On his own website PyroAndBallyhoo.com, he laughs it off and explains his wrestling philosophy while booking pretty good guests that other podcasts have missed like Madusa and Matt Morgan .  Say what you want about Russo (and the guys in the above podcasts certainly have) but he is intelligent, and he knows the wrestling business and has intriguing ideas of how to make it entertaining in a modern world.  The show is still new, but I believe it could gain favor with me over time.

    The Ross Report

His intro says 'He's considered the best broadcaster in wrestling history.'  I agree 100%, as I explained in my Top 10 list of play-by-play men.  That being, said, you'd think Jim 'JR' Ross would be the best interviewer in the podcast world, but that's not exactly the case.  I still enjoy the program and the guests, along with the insight into the business that JR provides, but I could use a little less JR and a little more of the guest.  I also like the once-a-week format of The Ross Report, as it helps me catch up after busy weeks.  Very solid podcast, just not my absolute favorite.

    The Art Of Wrestling

Colt Cabana is the originator of the wrestling podcast, and what's great about his show is that he's still an active wrestler.  He spent a short time in WWE as Scotty Goldman, but is now one of the most popular independent wrestlers today.  What he lacks in interview skills, he makes up for in charisma.  Some of his guests are relative unknowns, but still good interviews.  It's just hard to choose this show with names I don't know, over huge names on Austin's or JR's show if my time is limited.  If my time was unlimited, I would never miss AOW.

    Talk Is Jericho

Chris Jericho has never been one to shy away from a new venture.  He's been one of the best in the ring, a great rock star, reality TV star, author, and game show host.  Now he's the host of one of the best podcasts on Podcastone.com.  He usually flips between wrestling and rocker guests (I usually skip the latter), but since he's been back with the WWE, his wrestling guests have been better.  I think he may be the best interviewer of all the hosts I've mentioned.  My only thing keeping Jericho from being number one, is his corny comedy bits he does in the open of his show.  Silly voices aren't entertaining, but he does a bunch of them.

    The Steve Austin Show

The biggest star in wrestling history now has two shows a week.  This is a homerun for any wrestling fan.  'Stone Cold' Steve Austin brings a legitimate everyday guy feel to Podcastone.com.  In wrestling, he was the guy we all wanted to be, and now as he interviews his friends and talks wrestling, hunting, and beer, he seems like your old friend.  He talks about fighting with technology and fighting rats at the farm, but can shoot the breeze with stars in wrestling from Shawn Michaels to Jerry Lawler as a peer and a fan.  He is easy to relate to and  entertaining, with the best guests and that makes him number one!
