Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Announce Soul2Soul Vegas Residency

It’s been more than five years since Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have toured together domestically, but the first couple of country music is reprising their wildly popular Soul2Soul co-headlining tour as part of a residency venture with the Venetian Las Vegas. The extravagant stage production will kick off on Dec. 7 and will run through April 2013.
“We are creating a show that will be completely different from what we’ve done before — and might ever do again,” the couple said during a press conference on Tuesday. “In arenas and stadiums, you’re always faced with the challenge of finding ways to make people feel closer to the action, no matter where they might be sitting. Now everyone will be close, so it opens up all kinds of creative possibilities and we’re looking forward to exploring those so that we can really give our fans something truly special.”
The popular 1,815-seat Venetian Theater Sin City venue will be modified to accommodate the lavish production needs of the stage show, which will include innovative lighting and set design technologies that are synonymous with McGraw and Hill’s Soul2Soul brand. Touted as the biggest musical event in the theater’s history, John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of the Venetian, expects the singing couple’s star power to make the event the most in-demand ticket in town.
“It’s not every day that Las Vegas welcomes such stellar star power to the Strip,” Caparella explains. “Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are country music’s first couple and we are proud to have such extraordinary talent. When they hit our stage in December it will surely be the hottest ticket in town.”
The revamped version of the Soul2Soul run will be the first time McGraw and Hill have performed together in the United States since their co-headlining Soul2Soul II Tour in 2007. Their previous outing was the highest-grossing multi-year country music tour in history, selling 1.6 million tickets and earning a staggering $141 million.
Ticket prices for the McGraw and Hill Las Vegas residency are set $95.50, $175.50 and $255.50 and $295.50, tax included. A limited number of VIP Packages, which includes preferred seating in the first two rows, a complimentary pre-fixed dinner at a select resort restaurant, two complimentary drinks at the show, a merchandise credit and more goodies, are also available.
Pre-sale for the limited engagement begins tomorrow (Aug, 8), with tickets for the general public available beginning Aug. 13. Tickets can be purchase at any Venetian/Palazzo box office, on the Venetian’s official website, or by calling 702-414-9000.

Female Arm Wrestler Has a Scream That Will Scare the Pants Off of You
I am NOT athletic at all. So, my tactic to win or at least appear like some sort of competition to my opponent is to look the part or sound the part. This female arm wrestler must have taken a play right out of the Leslie Morgan play book. Rule number 1....make your bark SO big, they won't notice you have no bite!! ;-)
Her scream would scare even the biggest, toughest male arm wrestler!

‘Sad Cat Diary’ Offers Hilarious Insight Into the Mind of a Cat
As, you know, Jon refers to me as 'The Cat Lady' on the air. Just because I adopted my first cat a year ago and have since acquired 7 more, doesn't make me a cat lady. Or does it??? ;-) Ok, I know it would appear that I, if I'm not the cat lady NOW, I am well on my way. In the past year, I have become very in tune with cats and all of their personalities. Maybe that's why I love them so much and they, in turn, are drawn to me. lol
I found a video that gives a little insight to the mind of the sad cat (which is only ONE of their many personalities) Watch, learn and laugh!! It's seriously, hilarious!
