This Tweet Perfectly Sums Up Why We Grieve Over Artists We Haven’t Met

It seems so far that 2016 is the year of celebrity deaths.  So many celebrity deaths have already happened this year, and it isn't even June yet! We've lost Natalie Cole, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Glenn Frey,  Merle Haggard, Joey Feek, Chyna, and most recently Prince.   And that's not even ALL of the celeb deaths this year.  

When a celebrity dies since we now have social media it seems that every time social media floods with people sharing memories of the celeb.   But one thing I always see in my facebook newsfeed is people who then complain about people who grieve the loss of a celebrity.  While to be quite frank as bad as it sounds, most of us in general, our lives are not really effected by the loss of the celebrity.  However that doesn't mean we aren't allowed to show sympathy, and grieve their loss.

Prince was an icon, his influence in music will live on forever.
