My sons are huge fans and their Christmas and Birthday lists for the last two years have been all about LEGOs. Imagine a young boy with Asperger’s Syndrome who plays with LEGOs to improve his social skills, only to find out the set he wants the most is no longer available. Well, that was the case for 10-year-old James Groccia who saved all of his money for two years to buy one particular LEGO train set – the Emerald Night train set.
When James finally had the money, the unthinkable happened, the Emerald Night set had been discontinued and James was crushed. So, with the help of his father, James wrote a letter to LEGO.
Not only did he a get a response, they sent him the set he so desperately wanted. His dad secretly recorded him opening the box and his reaction will bring tears…I guarantee it. It’s no wonder that James and his family believe LEGO is the best company in the world…it’s hard not to agree. Enjoy and I’m certain your smile will be as big as James’.
