The upcoming Paws for a Vet event will benefit Soldier Dogs for Independence, and it's all happening Saturday April 30th, beginning at 2pm.

Soldier Dogs for Independence is a local organization that trains rescued shelter dogs to become service animals and then pairs them up with local soldiers who need them. Admission for the Paws for a Vet is just $5 for adults, with children and veterans amitted free. Service animals will be welcome as well. There will be food and drinks available for purchase and live music from Angel Rhodes. The event will also feature children's activities as well. There will be something for everyone!

The event will be held at 1800 Pollack Avenue, on Saturday, April 30th beginning at 2pm. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Soldier Dogs for Independence.
