A country singer has won NBC's The Voice four times, but winning doesn't necessarily mean hit songs and fame are coming quickly. The most successful country contestant on this Top 10 list actually lost in the Battle Rounds, while several other non-winners made a mark in ways you'd never expect.

Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, Sundance Head and Craig Wayne Boyd are the four country winners of The Voice. Thus far only Pope and Bradbery have found a spot on the radio, but Head did notch a prime opening spot on coach Blake Shelton's 2017 tour. RaeLynn and the Swon Brothers are two that didn't make the finals, but have scored hits. You'll find both before finalists like Barett Baber and Josh Gallagher.

To create this list we looked at radio success, songwriting success, awards, sales and touring figures and overall name awareness. One singer stood far above the rest, even if she's far from the most famous name on this list. Contestants like Meghan Linsey and Billy Gilman were left off the list, as they competed in the pop genre.

The Voice is often criticized for failing to produce stars — something even coaches have become increasingly vocal about in recent seasons. While it's true there has not been a Voice-version of Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, it's difficult to say the reality show has failed in adding to country format. The doors opened are tremendously valuable, even if they're not necessarily doors that lead to the world's biggest stages.
