How cool would it be to take a ride in a big ol' combine tractor? Or have a character in a book named after you? Maybe you'd prefer a piece of autographed sports memorabilia to display in your home and show off to all your friends? All those options and more will be available when the The Literacy Center in Evansville kicks off their annual Holiday Auction on Tuesday, November 13th!

Items up for bid include the aforementioned combine tractor ride, courtesy of Seib Farms, author Rick Reed naming a character in his next book after you (let's hope it's not the bad guy — unless you're good with that), plus autographed memorabilia from Antony Rizzo of the Chicago Cubs, and others, as well as "a large foosball table from Escalade, getaways like Paoli Peaks, gift baskets, crafts, and lots and lots of gift cards."

Over 120 items will be available to bid on when the auction opens on The Literacy Center website, all of which were donated by local donors. Proceeds from the auction will go toward the Center's Basic Adult Literacy and High School Equivalency programming.
