The Laramie Project is the story of how one rural community reacted to the hate-crime murder of Matthew Shepard, a 21 year old gay university student who was beaten, robbed and abandoned to die alone in the desert.  The play inspires love and kindness.
The Laramie Project was co-written by Evansville's ownwriter/actress, Kelli Simpkins. The play is a MUST SEE for our community with a message of tolerance and acceptance. I will actually have a part in the show. Come see me and the talented people of the Tri-State perform this very special play.
