The Gong Shows ‘Gene Gene the Dancing Machine’ Passes Away

Growing up, the Gong Show was a family favorite. My dad loved it. Especially Gene, Gene the Dancing Machine. We would ALL get up and dance when Gene came out, on stage and started dancing.

Sadly, Gene Gene (real name -Gene Patton) passed away last week at the age of 82.

Hearing the news made me very sad but thankful for the fun family time that he brought to our living room back in the 70's.
