The Ford Center Officially Welcomed To Evansville With Ribbon-Cutting [PHOTOS]

It's been a busy week for the brand new Ford Center in downtown Evansville.  After 2 years of construction and many years of discussion prior, The Ford Center is open.  Over the last week or so, it has hosted a couple Aces games, an Icemen game, and Bob Seger in concert, and before Reba McEntire takes the stage tonight, the city took time to officially celebrate the grand opening of the arena with a ribbon cutting hosted by outgoing Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel.  The city chose the date so that they could also honor the great men and women who have served this country on Veterans Day.
