The Evansville Icemen will be home this Friday and Saturday night at the Ford Center. Saturday night will be Faith night with a post game concert. Saturday night will also feature a Teddy Bear Toss to benefit 911 Gives Hope so, bring a teddy bear or two to throw on the ice. A teddy bear toss is really something to see if you have never seen one. Fans are asked to bring teddy bears to the game to be donated to charity. At a certain point in the game, usually after the first goal, fans are instructed to throw the bears onto the ice, creating a pretty cool spectacle.

The bears on Saturday night will be given to the police officers and fire fighters of 911 Gives Hope, which are used to comfort children during tense and serious situations.

This video is footage from a game in Calgary last weekend where 25,000 bears came flying out of the stands after the Calgary Hitmen scored their first goal of the game.

Get your tickets for Saturday's Teddy Bear Toss night at the Ford Center, the Icemen office at 6th and Main in Downtown Evansville, or buy them online here.
