The Evansville Icemen had a shaky start to the season with a few consecutive losses, but they are beginning to turn things around with a couple of home wins and a big win Thursday night against Cincinnati. Dan Gendur scored the go ahead goal with 1:11 remaining in regulation to secure a 4-3 win for the Icemen. The Icemen will return home to the Ford Center this Sunday to host Reading at 5pm. Sunday is also youth jersey night and the first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a free youth Icemen jersey.

The Icemen go on an extensive road trip next week before returning home to the Ford Center on Saturday December 1st against Kalamazoo at 7:15pm. It will be Star Wars night and the kids will enjoy more than 30 Star Wars characters that will be on hand during the game that promises to make intermissions a lot of fun for the kids and all Star Wars fanatics.

The Icemen will be wearing special Star Wars jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game with half of the proceeds benefiting 911 Gives Hope. It will also be 'Pack the House' night on December 1st. Two great family nights with your Evansville Icemen. Get your tickets for these and all home games here.
