The Crazy Things People Wear to Wal-Mart

This seems like a simple enough question, but the answer appears to get a little fuzzy. As an employee at Wal-mart, I have seen men come in super sweaty with no shirt and cut off shorts. I have seen 20 something girls come in wearing only a white spaghetti strap tank top and Hello Kitty underwear.

The awful thing is that it has almost become accepted by everyone. Managers do nothing when people show up in their skivvies and customers laugh and take pictures.

Somewhere along the way Wal-mart became the beacon that attracts people too lazy to get dressed and go out. I, for one, have not seen this kind of activity at Target or Best Buy.

As people go about picking up your weekly groceries it probably couldn’t hurt show a little modesty. Given that children frequent Wal-mart it probably isn’t a great thing for them to see people traipsing around in their undies.
