Taylor Swift Premieres ‘Red’ Title Track on ‘Good Morning America’

Taylor Swift fans were seeing ‘Red’ on Monday morning, as the country music superstar debuted a clip of the title track to her highly anticipated fourth studio album during a segment of ‘Good Morning America’ (listen below).
Swift made good on her promise to premiere a new song on the popular morning news show each Monday leading up to the album’s Oct. 22 release, with the song ‘Red’ now available for download in full on iTunes.
Like the majority of her self-penned catalog, the talented lyricist wrote the bouncy, upbeat track based on personal experience. “I wrote this song about the fact that some things are just hard to forget because the emotions involved with them are so intense,” she explains.
Last week, Swift debuted ‘Begin Again,’ a country-leaning ballad that was immediately serviced to country radio. The track quickly rose to No. 1 on the iTunes all-genre chart and remained the most-downloaded track for a majority of the week.
The project’s first single, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ shattered iTunes records earlier this year, selling more 623,000 in its first week of release. Swift scored her first Hot 100 No. 1 single with the crossover smash while earning the record for the biggest one week sales for a female in iTunes history.
‘Red’ (album) will be released in stores and to all digital retailers on Oct. 22, and will feature 16 songs written or co-written by Swift. Confirmed collaborators include British rocker Ed Sheeran, Foster the People and a bevy of pop producers including Max Martin, Shellback, Butch Walker and Dan Wilson.

‘Sixty for Sixty’ Campaign for George Strait Falls Short
George Strait turns 61 years old TODAY! But, that's OK, there is no one like George Strait and there quite possibly never will be. Several, I mean tons, of artists made videos to try and urge fans to buy the single. It is very touching. Watch them give love and admiration to the king of country music.
