Taylor Swift brought the members of the Band Perry onstage at her concert on Wednesday night (Sept. 16) to sing their breakthrough hit, "If I Die Young."

The country-turned-pop superstar was performing in Indianapolis,. Ind., as part of her ongoing 1989 World Tour, during which she has routinely invited surprise guest stars to share the stage, making sure that no two shows are the same. She brought the sibling trio out to perform the moving ballad, which helped launch them to stardom when it reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in 2010. It was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Song.

“Something I’m very proud of is that I came up in country music — really proud of it — and I still am such a huge fan of country music, and, in my opinion, the people I’m about to bring out are some of best musicians, some of the best things we’ve got going in country music,” Swift told the audience (quote via The Boot). “And they have won Grammys and CMAs and ACMs; they are unbelievable. Country music is all about family. They happen to be a family …”

With that, the trio took the stage to perform the song with Swift as the crowd lit up the enormous arena with lights that they waved from side to side. Kimberly Perry and Swift shared lead vocals on the song, with Neil and Reid Perry providing harmonies and Swift taking the second verse before she and Kimberly traded lines on the song's closing.

"So put on your best, boys," Perry sang, with Swift finishing, "And I'll wear my pearls."

Swift posted the video above to Instagram afterward, and the Band Perry were equally excited, sharing a selfie of themselves with the superstar on their own IG.

Swift's 1989 World Tour has included appearances by Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez, along with Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines (for "Goodbye Earl") and Sam Hunt, who performed "Take Your Time" with her. She also invited former Friends star Lisa Kudrow onstage for a duet on the Phoebe Buffay classic, "Smelly Cat."
