Toby Keith Wins Artist Of The Decade At The American Country Awards

Toby Keith has been the most played artist on country radio for the last ten years and last night he received the recognition for that. Keith was named Artist of the Decade last night at the American Country Awards. Keith started his acceptance speech by saying, "anyone can have a great decade, right"?. Keith later performed 'Red Solo Cup'.

It has been almost two weeks since the deadly stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair just prior to the start of the Sugarland concert on August 13th. There are still more questions than answers about how a huge gust of wind took out the stage, causing it to collapse onto the crowd in front of the stage killing 5 at the time and injuring numerous others.

Johnny Cash Last Surviving Original Band Member Dies At 83

Marshall Grant, the last original member of Johnny Cash's band has died at the age of 83. Grant died last weekend after suffering a brain aneurysm and is pictured above on the right.

Cash's band was known as the 'Tennessee Two" and Grant was a very important part of what would become Cash's signature sound on the bass and also served as the road manager from 1954-1980
