If you ever travel on Barker around Howell Park on the West Side this time of year, for example, you will see the Reitz marching band hard at work during practice. These bands don't get anywhere near the credit they deserve for the work they put into what they do. The school marching band performance is a staple at high school and college football games especially at halftime.
