Since the folks at NASA successfully landed the Curiosity Rover on the surface of Mars, there has been nobody on Earth cooler and more confident than these guys and gals. One of the biggest stars in this story is the guy with the weird haircut who has been all over the internet. Some of these scientists look so much younger and cooler than when we used to watch these things on TV.

The space program is all but over and the space shuttle program has ended. Space Shuttle Discovery made it's final voyage yesterday around Washington D.C. on the back of a NASA 747 headed for retirement at the Smithsonian. Throngs pf people watched Discovery say goodbye as it made it's way from Cape Canaveral, Florida to Dulles International Airport.
