September 18, 2012 During my live show at Hawg N Sauce in Mt. Vernon, the Mt. Vernon High School cheerleaders stopped in and to my surprise and Heidi's, they had prepared a special cheer for her, and she was happy to stop her show and hear it.
March 21, 2012 Anyone who crosses the Wabash Memorial Bridge in Mt. Vernon knows that they removed the manned toll booth a couple of years ago. At the time they explained how you need to open an account with INDOT to get an electronic transponder to put on your windshield that takes the toll out of your 'account' electronically at the time you cross in either direction.
