I had a chance talk to my buddy Maggie Rose today as she is headed to the Tri-State for a special concert at Hawg N Sauce Friday night.  The concert is on and will be a great time rain or shine.

Maggie Rose has been all over the place lately, and she will soon be in the Tri-State for the next Songs for St. Jude Concert at Hawg N Sauce on August 9th.  If you want a taste of what you'll see that night, check out this cool performance of 'Better' from this morning's Fox and Friends.

In our first Songs For St. Jude Free Concert at Hawg N Sauce in Mt. Vernon, We raised $1000 for the kids of St. Jude with Jason Sturgeon.  In our second concert in the series, WKDQ and Hawg N Sauce welcome Maggie Rose, Friday, August 9th!

Wednesday, May 15th, three classic rock legends come to Evansville as REO Speedawagon, Styx, and Ted Nugent play The Ford Center.  All three have major crossover appeal as evident by these country artists singing their songs.

Maggie Rose picked up a big win with her new single 'Better' making her the new champion in the Country Whuppin'.  In her first defense, however, it's somewhat of a handicap match, as she faces three top contenders in the form of 90's hitmakers Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw, and Aaron Tippin and their new collaboration.

A big congratulations goes out to Weston Burt, who put together 5 straight wins to make it to the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame! That means we have two new challengers that face off today. First, it's Billy Currington and his new tune, 'Hey Girl.' He'll be facing off against Maggie Rose and 'Better.'

The Tuesday night Grand Ole Opry was packed with stars and legends, including 5 Opry members.  From Dierks Bentley to Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis, the lineup made for a solid and entertaining night.  Also on stage was a rising star celebrating the release of her first album.

Both of these young ladies have gotten a ton of attention over the last few years!  From the rise of Taylor to the biggest star in the world to the second place finish of Lauren on a huge season of American Idol.  But which starlet do you think is hotter?

The unanimous number one seed again this year is the lovely Carrie Underwood, and for her first matchup, she faces up and coming "I Ain't Your Mama" singer, Maggie Rose!

Bucky Covington and Shooter Jennings picked up their second win in a row to reign as champions on the Country Whuppin'.  They take their rowdy duet into battle against new artist Maggie Rose and her single, I Ain't Your Mama.
