Garth Brooks Suing Hospital Over 500K Donation
January 19, 2012 Garth Brooks appeared Tuesday in an Oklahoma courtroom to defend what he calls a broken promise. Brooks made a half-million dollar donation to the Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in his hometown of Yukon, Oklahoma. He says they have not followed through with the promise to name a wing of the hospital after his late mother.
