Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life, or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others.

It is so hard to believe that we have so many homeless Veterans in this country and Veterans on the verge of becoming homeless. We have hundreds right here in our very own backyard, which is why our local chapter of the American Red Cross created the 'Totes for Hope' campaign.

The devastation in Moore, Oklahoma goes beyond comprehension and the death toll, unfortunately, continues to rise after yesterday's massive tornado that all but leveled the town of Moore. The most recent Planet of The Apes movie is 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes', which gives you the back story about how the apes came to power and the experiments that got them there. Monkeys really are that smart and their capacity seems endless. I know whenever we take the kids to Mesker Park Zoo, we spend hours just watching the monkeys.
