If you enjoy twists and turns of a police drama and a sexy soap with all the fun of the country music business, then you should be watching Nashville on ABC.  The show wrapped its first season last night and it's been announced they're back for a second in the fall.  That's good because what a cliff hanger...or hangers actually.

Country stars have found a shining spot among the 2013 Golden Globe nominees, which were announced on Thursday morning (Dec. 13). Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and the two leading actresses on the ABC drama 'Nashville' are all included on the ballot for the Jan. 13 NBC broadcast.

'Nashville' star Hayden Panettiere was involved in a two-car accident earlier this month, caused by her alleged failure to stop at a red light and the other driver's improper merge. No one was seriously hurt, but both the BMW and a Geo Prism were towed from the scene.

The age-old choice of whether to stay or leave was the central theme of Wednesday night's (Nov. 14) episode of ABC's 'Nashville.' In an episode appropriately titled "You're Gonna Change (Or I'm Gonna Leave)," several of the main characters were contemplating major changes, while one pivotal relationship appears to have failed altogether.

Is 'Nashville' actress Hayden Panettiere using her role as the up-and-coming country music sensation Juliette Barnes as "practice" for her very own country music career? It seems likely.

I don't need anything else to watch on Wednesday nights, but I'm going to have to make time.  ABC has picked up a show about the ins and outs of the country music business, called appropriately enough, "Nashville."
