Listen, I get it, not all fathers are great dads or exes for that matter. It's not about that. What I want you to think about is the importance of your child's father in the story of their life, and yours too.

Always encouraging love, kindness and respect for the other parent. If your co-parent is a good parent, do what is right for your child. Your child need both of you.

It's very important to recognize the importance of a father in the life of a child. Many great fathers have had to fight, in the courts, for time with their kids. The laws surrounding visitation and co-parenting, seemed to be swayed in one direction, leaving dads feeling left out and unimportant. But, that's all changing.

We're not here to tell you how to run your life. We're mostly just here to provide you with cute pictures of kittens and GIFs you might like. But if we could make a suggestion, don't get your dad any of these things for Father's Day.

I've been a fan country music since I was in 5th grade, and I've been doing country radio for 10 years.  It's weird how some songs you've heard a million times have new meanings once you're a parent.  I have three in particular that touched me differently after my daughter and son were born.

Guys, what do you say when your kids ask you what you want for Father's Day? It used to be when we were little, we would get soap on a rope or some Hi Karate cologne for our dads....remember that? You couldn't wait til Father's Day to give dad his gift because you knew in your heart that was the coolest gift ever and if your dad was like mine, he said it definitely was.
