Dylan Scott had a whirlwind weekend. In addition to announcing new tour dates, his single "My Girl" and the upcoming release of his self-titled debut album on Aug. 12, the country singer also got married.

The Songs For St. Jude Concert Series gets kicked off for the season Thursday night at Hawg N Sauce BBQ in Mt. Vernon with Ray Scott!  Ray will follow in the footsteps of artists like Craig Campbell, Heidi Newfield, Dylan Scott, and Maggie Rose that have all been there for these shows.  Take a look at some of the highlights of the past!

Gunnar and the Grizzly Boys had a dominant victory in their first defense of their Country Whuppin' crown.  Today, they go up against a former CW Hall of Fame inductee, Dylan Scott with his new cover song!

Dylan Scott is now a two-time champion on the Country Whuppin' after knocking off Sara Evans.  He has a tough task ahead of him today, as he faces Brantley Gilbert who has moved from the rowdier 'Bottoms Up' and 'Small Town Throwdown' to 'One Hell Of An Amen.'

Dylan Scott came out on top in a new Country Whuppin' on Tuesday, and he's now officially the champion!  His first defense comes against a song featured in last night's episode of Nashville on ABC, from Sara Evans.

Congratulations to a new Hall of Famer for the Country Whuppin'.  Josh Turner is the proud owner of five wins in a row with "Lay Low" which is now officially retired.  So today, two of the most promising young artists in country battle it out Dustin vs. Dylan.  It's Dustin Lynch taking on Dylan Scott!

It was another great Songs for St. Jude concert Friday night as Dylan Scott and his band came to Hawg N Sauce in Mt. Vernon to play for the fans and help us raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dylan Scott comes to Hawg N Sauce BBQ this Friday night for our Songs For St. Jude Free Concert.  It'll be the first full band, plugged in Songs For St. Jude show we've done, so in celebration I thought we'd have Dylan strip it down to just him and a guitar for this awesome performance of Jamey Johnson's "She's All Lady."

It's over the halfway point to the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame for Chris Lane, but to get there, he'll have to contend with a Hall of Famer from last summer.  It's a week-long battle as I head into my vacation between Chris Lane and Dylan Scott.

Dylan Scott is a nut to begin with and we love him for it, but when you throw him some random questions ya never know what you'll get!

WKDQ would like to thank Hawg N Sauce BBQ and Grill and Craig Campbell for a great night of music to open this summer's Songs For St. Jude Free Concert Series.  The numbers are still being counted, but the total is well over $1000 for St. Jude!

The 4th Annual Evansville Give Hope Run happened at Burdette Park this Saturday and once again outdrew not only previous years, but all markets for races of this kind.  The total money raised this year was $111,254!  The day was capped off by a performance from country artist, Dylan Scott.
