Junior Seau, former San Diego Chargers great committed suicide today at his Oceanside, California home he was 43. Police responed to Seau's home after a reported gunshot in the residence around 10am PDT. At 12:32 p.m. PDT, police confirmed that Seau was dead from a single gunshot wound.

Obama made the announcement in a televised address shortly after 11:30 PM ET, about an hour after reports of bin Laden's death had made their way onto the Internet.
