It looked like the young Hunter Hayes might mount a comeback to challenge 3 time Whuppin' champ, Lauren Alaina, but it was not to be. Alaina's "Georgia Peaches" garnered about 59% of the vote to move onto victory number 4 over Hayes' "Wanted." Today she steps into the ring with another half of Brooks and Dunn gone solo, in Kix Brooks.
February 16, 2012 The Country Whuppin' brought to you by Cleaver's Prime Sandwiches and Salads is back. The Alaina faithful were in full effect again, as Lauren Alaina's "Georgia Peaches" continues its winning ways, picking up a third win, knocking off Clay Walker's "Like We Never Said Goodbye" by 79% of the vote! Now, Lauren goes for her 4th win against fellow youngster, 20-year-old, Hunter Hayes.
January 26, 2012 Country Whuppin' time once again, and the trend continues. We haven't had a champion last more than one day. And yet another champion falls and in a big way. Tuesday the match up was between Champion, Love and Theft "Angel Eyes" vs. Challenger, Tim Dugger "Way Past My Beer Time. By an overwhelming 84% margin, Dugger takes over as new champion, to face today's challenger, Josh Turner "Time Is Love."
January 24, 2012 It's time again for the Country Whuppin' as Thursday's champion, Love and Theft's "Angel Eyes" moves on to face new competition. It comes in the form of Curb's latest artist, Tim Dugger and his debut single, "Way Past My Beer Time."
January 19, 2012 Today, we carry over the first winner of the Country Whuppin'. Tuesday, Dustin Lynch became the first champion with his single, "Cowboys and Angels." Now, he moves on to face another new song from one of the acts I met in Memphis last weekend. His competition is Love and Theft.
