After 3 and a half years, we have retired the Country Whuppin'.  Many songs have competed and only 31 songs got the honor of the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame with 5 straight wins.  After all the voting was over, only one artist survived as the Grand Champion of the Country Whuppin'!

It's time again for the Country Whuppin' as Thursday's champion, Love and Theft's "Angel Eyes" moves on to face new competition.  It comes in the form of Curb's latest artist, Tim Dugger and his debut single, "Way Past My Beer Time."

Today, we carry over the first winner of the Country Whuppin'. Tuesday, Dustin Lynch became the first champion with his single, "Cowboys and Angels." Now, he moves on to face another new song from one of the acts I met in Memphis last weekend. His competition is Love and Theft.
