Last week was our special Week of Whuppin', and I didn't realize it would be just that.  Carrie Underwood won all five days and found herself in the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame!  So, to start out this week, we have two new challengers facing off to become champion, Raelynn and Chuck Wicks!

Our Week of Whuppin' has turned out to be a dominating performance by Carrie Underwood so far, but with one last day of the week and one last stand for Carrie, can she make it to the Hall of Fame, or will her challenger take over as champ?  We'll let you decide as she faces Dierks Bentley!

Our Week of Whuppin' continues today and Carrie Underwood continues on as champion, after taking down The Band Perry.  The glowing Underwood walks into a battle with Tyler Farr who's coming at her with "A Guy Walks Into A Bar."

Our Week of Whuppin' continues today after a great one yesterday between Carrie Underwood and Eric Church.  Carrie managed to squeak by, winning by just one vote!  So, after two wins, we'll see if she gets a third as she faces a new/old song from The Band Perry.  It's their new cover of the Glen Campbell classic, "Gentle On My Mind."

Our Week of Whuppin' continues on this Tuesday with a new champion!  After two straight wins, Trisha Yearwood's "PrizeFighter" was knocked out by Carrie Underwood!  Now, "Something In The Water" will make its first defense against Eric Church and the latest release from The Outsiders, "Talladega!"

Things are heating up in country music, with big singles being released from some major artists this week.  So, I thought this would be a perfect time to extend the Country Whuppin' this week and have a match-up every day!  The special Monday edition starts with Trisha Yearwood taking on Carrie Underwood!

Talk about a 'comeback kid' and 'prize fighter'!  These are word in Trisha Yearwood's new single, and they perfectly describe her victory in the Country Whuppin'.  Trisha takes that championship win, and steps back into the ring today to take on Kenny Chesney and his new single from 'The Big Revival' CD.

Normally, when an artist gets over 800 votes in the Country Whuppin', it's a BIG deal!  That is, unless your opponent gets nearly 3,000 votes!  It was a great outing by Brian Collins, but Chris Young took the win and a trip to the Hall of Fame!  That means two new songs take front and center and they are both from artists we haven't heard from in a while: Trisha Yearwood and Montgomery Gentry! In his toughest challenge to date, Chris Young manage to squeak by George Ducas, garnering 52% of the vote.  He has one more win left before he enters the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame, but to get the win, we must defeat new artist, and today's in-studio guest, Brian Collins!

Chris Young took another big win on the last Country Whuppin', as he took the online vote by 93%, making the total percentage with the call-in votes 85%.  In today's match-up, Young's 'Lonely Eyes' faces a veteran of the country music business with a new single, George Ducas.

I personally thought the battle between Chris Young and Lee Brice would be a closer outcome, but Chris Young dominated the voting, garnering over 95%.  The solid champ takes on a new challenge today from Glen Templeton and 'Let Her Go.'

A big congrats to Veronica Ballestrini who managed to get 3 wins on the Country Whuppin'!  Unfortunately, she was stopped by Chris Young and his new single, "Lonely Eyes."  Now Chris goes on the defensive as he takes on a new challenger in Lee Brice and "Drinking Class."
