Of course George Strait belongs in the Hall of Fame!  He was meant for it, and that must be why his song, "I Got A Car" was voted into the Country Whuppin' Hall of Fame!  That leaves two open spots today and they will be filled by Billy Currington and Thomas Rhett!

This is the last run for George Strait on the Country Whuppin'.  It's either win and go to the Hall of Fame or lose and give up the throne to a new champion, even though he'll never give up the throne as king of country.  Should he be dethroned in the Whuppin', it would be at the hands of today's challenger, Tyler Farr.

It's hard to stop the CMA Entertainer of the Year!  George Strait just picked up another Country Whuppin' win in a contest that was actually quite close.  In an unusual turn of events, it was the call-in votes that made the difference, as George beat Dallas Smith for win 3.  Today he faces another CMA winner, the CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town!

It's still good to be King for George Strait.  George picked up a second win in the Country Whuppin' with his latest single, 'I Got A Car.'  Can he continue to ride this wave that started at the CMA's, or will new artist, Dallas Smith takeover as champion.

American Young made quite the run for the Hall of Fame, but fell just short.  Stopping there win total at four was former Hall of Fame member, Weston Burt.  Today, Weston looks for a second run to the Hall, as he goes into the Country Whuppin' to face Chris Carmack, better known as Will Lexington from ABC's Nashville, and the song he stole from Gunner, 'What If I Was Willing'.
