One of the AWESOME things about my job is interviewing country artists. Last week, I had the honor of interviewing one of my faves, Justin Moore. With the 2012 Big O Music Fest just one day away, I thought it would be fun to flashback to last year's event and relive some of the excitement at the lineup featured Sara Darling, Steve Holy, David Nail, Jake Owen, Colt Ford, Chris Young, and Dierks Bentley.

Today, I had the chance to talk to one of the first guys I was a fan of in country music, Tracy Lawrence.  He's headed to the Big O Music Fest this Saturday along with Blake Shelton and many others.  Listen as we talk about what Tracy's been up to, plus hear some exclusive content for WKDQ.com including his favorite touring partners and if he has any hard feelings against his Brothers of the Sun.

We announced last week that Blake Shelton would be headlining this year's Big O Music Fest, August 18th in Owensboro, and now we can announce another name to the lineup.  With nine number one hits to her name, Jo Dee Messina will be joining the already huge bill of artists set to appear at the concert.

The Big O Music Fest was held Saturday for the 3rd staight year, and it was the best so far!  Minus about an hour of hard rain, the event went off great.

The Big O Music Fest is this Saturday at Reid's Orchard in Owensboro.  Right now WKDQ Country Club Members can win VIP tickets and a meet and greet with Dierks Bentley. ENTER HERE  The talent line-up reads like a who's who of today's biggest country hits...

Brantley Gilbert is the star of the kickoff party for this year's Big O Music Fest.  He will be playing live at McConnell Plaza in downtown Owensboro this Friday night.  As we announced last week, those tickets are now sold out, but starting at 5PM on Friday, tickets will be released and sold at the gates until 8pm, as the show gets underway...

The Big O Music Fest returns to Owensboro's Reid's Orchard for its third year on July 30th.  This year, catch stars like Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Colt Ford, Jake Owen, David Nail, Steve Holy, and Sarah Darling.  As we get close to this year's big show, let's go back and relive the fun we had last year.
