Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you have undoubtedly seen, or at least heard about Ellen Degeneres' Oscar Selfie that became the most re-tweeted photo ever. Bradley Cooper actually took the photo and technically owns the rights to the photo, but that's another blog.

Artists look at everything completely different than you and I and they have a very different perspective on the functionality of these things that we never even think about and probably just take for granted....like for instance, a door. We see a door as a mechanism to close something off.

We all know that animals can do amazing things and I am not talking about circus animals or sea creatures at Sea World. There is however, an elephant camp in Thailand with a couple of very special elephants with a very special and unique artistic talent....they can paint. Boy, can they paint!

Almost every artist has at least one unique quality that separates them from everyone else. Painters have to adapt a style that defines that artist, but I don't know if I have ever heard of creating art through tears. Leandro Granato's works of art are literally created through his tears.

I found this video and was mesmorized by it for some reason. It's a story about a bulldog with one eye that had everything going against her until she was rescued.

Artist Thomas Kinkade, known as the 'painter of light' died yesyerday at his home in Los Gatos, California very unexpectedly, he was 54. Kinkade was known for his brushwork paintings of idyllic landscapes, cottages and churches were among his biggest sellers for art dealers across the country.
