Everyone knows by now that George Strait and Garth Brooks performed together last night at the ACMs for the first time. That was for me, the highlight of the evening, but the meaning goes so much deeper than just two of the biggest stars in the history of country music together on one stage. Earlier in the week, Leslie did a blog post about who should replace Reba to co-host the upcoming ACM Awards with Blake Shelton. Leslie's pick was Kelly Clarkson, but to be fair, she also said Luke Bryan would be an interesting choice, which I didn't get at all. As is usually the case for me where women are concerned, I was wrong and Leslie was absolutely correct... again, no surprise there.
