Synchronized Swimming Is an Aquatic Ballet of Horror [Video]

The Summer Olympics are history, but we are left with some great American memories from the games. There is one sport that always seemed a little strange to me - synchronized swimming. Make no mistake, the sport is full of grace, pageantry and precision. When you watch synchronized swimming on TV or video, it's pretty amazing and kind of creepy at the same time.

When you see the sport in still photographs, it is very different and actually quite horrifying. This video is a compilation of still images from the recent Olympic games and if I didn't know any better, I would swear this was choreographed by Stephen King and Tim Burton. The facial expressions are right out of a horror film. See for yourself... if you dare!
