Sugarland returned to the stage on Thursday night in Albuquerque, New Mexico and began their show by asking the crowd to join them in a moment of silence to remember those who were lost and injured in last week's stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair. After a few seconds, Kristian Bush began to strum his guitar and Jennifer Nettles began singing the song "Love" with their entire band and crew behind them. It was painfully obvious that they are still having a very tough time dealing with the events of last Saturday.

"So we know, Albuquerque that you guys came to see a show", Nettles said after the song. "Obviously, in the loss of our set and instruments and our equipment, this incredible machine looks very different right now, but we are going to try our best to put on our professional faces and come out here for you and celebrate a moment with you of the joy and healing power of music", Nettles said.

It was announced yesterday that a 22-year-old Ball State student, Jennifer Haskell, became the sixth fatality as a result the tragedy.
