Stealing The Covers – Friends In Low Places [VIDEOS]

It’s time for another feature where we visit a popular song that was a cover and you might not have even known.  In this case, Garth Brooks’ signature song, “Friends In Low Places” is one of the biggest sing-a-long songs of all time, but did you know, Garth was not the first one to cut that song?

That’s right, “Friends In Low Places” was first released on Mark Chesnutt’s album “Too Cold At Home” in 1990.

The rest, of course, is history, as Garth released it as a single on his 1991 album “No Fences.
