This Saturday the US postal service is making it real easy for you to help those in need. They are holding their 25th Annual "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive!

If you would like to make a donation of a non-perishable food item, simply leave your donation by your mailbox and your letter carrier will collect it during their normal delivery time.

Here are the top items on the wish list for donations:

Cereal, pasta, pasta sauce or spaghetti sauce, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meals (such as soups, chili, and pasta), 100% juice, peanut butter, macaroni & cheese, canned protein (tuna, chicken, and turkey), beans (canned or dry). You also can donate healthy, low-sodium, low-sugar items such as beans, oatmeal and other whole grains, and canola or olive oil.

The goal this year is collect 100,000 pounds of food for the Tri-State Food Bank.
